I definately have my heart set on Megan for a girl but have found it hard with the boys, I suggested Oliver to my OH and he loves it. What do you think?
Sound good to me! I don't know how popular they are in the UK, I don't think they're too popular over here if that's a concern for you. I think they're def. good choices
I love them both! If our LO is a girl I had thought of Megan (I liked the nick-name Nutmeg too - feel free to steal it) but DH isn't so keen so we're kinda stuck on Emily now. I like the name Oliver but it wouldn't be my choice - mainly because one of my best friends had a little boy about 4weeks ago and called him Oliver xox
I am not 100% on Oliver yet so am secretly hoping it will be a girl because I know I will struggle when the time comes. Emily was a choice of mine but reminds me of a weird girl I used to work with!
ModernMillie - I figured if I like a name for the full 9 months then it is the right one.
I dont think anyone can tell if you have made the right name choices or not its down to you and i think once you see your baby and hold him/her you will see if he/she fits the name you have chosen
My favourites were Julia or Isabella for a girl; but we're having a boy, so maybe Finn or Jack (but Jack was the most popular name last year in Ireland), I like Oliver, but not Olly, so be careful nobody shortens his name. My dh and I have run through loads of boys names and it's really hard!
