Have I put my baby in danger?

I can't believe I've been so stupid. We've had shelving put up in our living room alcoves this week with a cabinet at the bottom of each side. They've been painted today and now I'm worried about my 11 week old dd breathing in the paint fumes and it damaging her health. I can't believe I didn't even think of it when I arranged for the work to be done.

During the painting she was mainly upstairs or in the kitchen. My OH had her in the living room for a little bit of time this evening, probably no longer than 30 mins. The window is also open.

She doesn't sleep independently until at least 3am in the morning and I am usually in the living room until that point. Tonight I'm going to stay in the kitchen before bringing her upstairs. But I'm worrying that I've already caused her damage? I also don't know when it would be safe for her to spend significant time in the living room again.

I'm having a major panic about this and feel the worst mother in the world.

She'll be fine, modern paints are non toxic and it doesn't sound like she could've inhaled it. You're not a bad mum try not to worry x

I can also add something. I also don't think you have done any damage. Although we all know about kids end point, I just learned that it's only till the paint dries that its best to keep kids away from paint. So it's only a short time you need to keep the kids away. Just thought i would add that for future.
