So my bf and I have been unofficially trying for 8 years. Recently we've been actually trying. I had what I believe was a miscarriage about 2 months ago. I went to the hospital twice in agony and bleeding a lot, passed a large blood clot after going on a roller coaster- and they were AWFUL to me.

Anyways, it was my first time bleeding in 8 months, and shortly after that, I thought I might be having ovulation pain. BF and I tried a few times around that date (Which was the 10-11-12 of Aug) and then had very light spotting 11 days later. I have been EXHAUSTED, moody, bloated, sens nips, nausea, headaches, crampy....

But I took a test today and got a BFN. Can women with PCOS just have lower hormone levels? Could I possibly still be pregnant?

Can any women with PCOS give me fertility tips or success stories?

I'm literally in tears writing this because I feel like a failure as a woman. Which I recognize is silly, but I can't help it.

i am so sorry for your loss and for how you were treated going through such a terrible time.

I don't have any tips or success stories to share, but I just wanted to let you know I understand how terrible PCOS is. PCOS has caused me to feel like I have lost my femininity and like I can't give my hubby the gift of a baby. It is heartbreaking and at times depressing.

The good news is...sounds like you have some really good signs. Have you gone for bloodwork? Try to hang in there. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and sending lots of sticky baby dust your way!! :dust:

If you need anyone to vent with about PCOS, feel free to send me a private message any time. PCOS is a nasty thing and it helps if we all stick together :hugs:

LAdies try taking INOSITOL, it's wonderful for women with PCOS nd they have dubbed i a baby in a bottle lol

I haven't heard of it...is it a supplement? Where can we get it?

Have u been to see your doctor?? I have pcos and usually go 5-6 months between bleeds, I conceived my son on clomid, just a pill you take once a day for 5 days and it induces healthy ovulation, recently I started taking metformin aswell that is used to treat pcos and within days I fell pregnant but sadly lost that one. We are still trying and will probably go back to clomid soon

Hi there,
Like all these other beautiful women, I also have PCOS and trouble conceiving. I don't know if this will help, but here is what has helped me with my emotional state. I have started a PCOS diet involving very few carbs, lots of fruits and veggies, and no caffeine. I have been using mindfullness when I start having those negative thoughts; calling myself useless, and that I'll never get pregnant again, that sort of thing. I replace those thoughts with positive ones (and I know this is easier said than done). I also started taking Fertilaid very recently. I read a lot about it on the web and found most reviews to be very positive for women with PCOS. I also take a pre-natal each day. I really hope you find some encouragement. I have read many, many success stories about women conceiving with PCOS. Lots have done so naturally with just a simple diet and exercise plan. Keep your head up chicka! We're all here to support you.

HOw often do you have a period? I don't have diagnosed PCOS, but I have irregular periods and it's likely that some months I probably don't ovulate. I was on Birth Control for about 6 years, got off of it for one year and then when we decided we were ready to start a family, I started doing math. I had to calculate how long my cycles were (40-60 days) so with a little math, some ovulating predictor strips and patience, we successfully conceived our son in 4 months. It's stressful. Best of luck!

I've been seeing a fertility specialist since May and we're now trying clomid. Its helping to regulate my cycles, but still no luck ttc. If we still have no luck in another month, the specialist wants to do a procedure (forget the name of it) to see if I have any tube blockages. My family doctor thought I had PCOS since I was a teenager so she put me on birth control to regulate my cycles. She didn't mention PCOS until I was having trouble ttc at age 33. I've just turned 34. Birth control hid the symptoms until we were ttc. If we had known, I think we would have started ttc earlier. Very frustrated. So she sent me to a specialist. I've made diet changes since December, tried supplements and it did help a bit. My weight is normal, although I'd always be happy to lose a few more pounds :haha: I just also found out I have insulin resistance so I'll be starting metformin too. One thing after another lately

All that being said, I'm going to try to stay optimistic. One good thing is hubby's sperm analysis came back great. So yay!!!! :happydance:
