Have to see a perinatologist next month

For a level II scan and discuss results and "other things" with the specialist. I'm not sure what "other things" are, but I do know they are requesting I have screening done for Trisomy and Downs. I'm not sure if I want to have this done. In the long run it won't matter to me, but I do feel like these tests will do nothing but upset me now.

you dont have to get any test you dont want especially no matter what you will be keeping the baby

but I did get them because I felt if there was a problem this way I will be prepared and have the best doctors and what not if there is god forbid a problem...so i see it more of help then anything else..xx

It just sort of stresses me out thinking about it. In the end I'll probably have them done, but I'm just not to that point of thinking just yet.

oh i totally get it...

in your own time and when and if you feel its right...remember you do not need to do anything you dont want too....

is there a reason there screening for these markers?
