I had a new doctor review my history. Generally I keep getting pregnant with IUIs but loose the baby at 6 weeks. She said that is not normal. She said that there has been research on this and studies say that some women's bodies do not have the ability to reject implication when there are chromosomal issues.

I was hoping to research this but unfortunately I didn't ask what this is called.

Has anyone heard of this?

Sorry I've never heard of this before. I would call her office and see if they can give you the name of the condition. I'm sorry that your body holds onto these pregnancies that are not viable :(

Just curious, have they checked your thyroid hormone? I just had my baby 3 months ago but my fertility specialist put me on Metformin so I wouldn’t loose my baby due to PCOS. I had spotting at 6 weeks. I continued metformin throughout my pregnancy and even now I am taking it to help with my milk supply. I wish you the very best.

Thanks for trying ladies. I will call and see what they say.

BrendaJ, I believe they did check that. I am also getting all my blood work updated and I believe they are checking that again also.

I think it's odd that nobody has heard of this. We all do sooooo much research that we typically know are than the doctors when we put our heads together. I hope they are not making it up. Her suggestion is IVF with PGS.

I fully agree with mermaiddance. Just only wanted to add that in case of chromosomal issues a doc might recommend doing IVF PGS NGS. You would find tons of materials on that in Internet. Good luck
