Having an internal when possibley PG?

I have a list the length of my arm of things I want to say/ask when I go to the doctors today. Can I ask for her for an internal to check everything is alright if I could be pregnant or will she refuse?

why would she refuse? it doesn't do any harm... in the end... it is the same as having
a penis in there... only this one can see haha

in our country all examinations are done with an internal scan untill the end of the first trimester, so no worries
