HCG blood test what happens?

Hi chics

I have my blood test next week at hospital after ICSI and just wondered what happens, do they tell you results there and then or do you go home and they ring? Also do they ring quickly if so??? Confused?? Not sure i want to sit there and wait for them to come back with results as if its negative i will prolly beef my eyes out haha

I always did my betas at 8 am and got results by 1 in the afternoon.
