Hi i really need some advice. I was taken into hospital on 16.09 as i had cramps on one side, doctors checked my hcg levels and they were at 928, they sent me for a scan on 17.09 and they could see a gestional sac but no yolk sac, but this could be because i was only 5 weeks so its still quite early so they did another blood test on 19.09 and my hcg levels where 1338 so they hadn't doubled liked they wanted them to so they did another test on 21.09 and then had gone down to just over 700. The doctors told me that i am losing the baby yet i have had no bleeding and my boobs have now become very painful. I am so confused is there any chance my baby could be ok and the doctors are wrong? I also have pcos and was on clomid to get pregnant.
Please help and advise me of your stories.

Thanks

i'm sorry hun falling hcg levels isn't great. xxx i hope all works out for you x

When HCG levels drop things do not look good. Also they didnt rise very much to start with either. You do dont always bleed with a miscarriage straight away. It can take your body time to recognise the loss. Do you hav a follow up with your doctor. Hopefully you will no more then

It sounds like a blighted ovum may be there, if there was no yolk sac visible at 5 weeks. Although with this pregnancy I had the same, pain down one side and in hospital v early on, they thought it may have been ectopic, my levels qaudrupled then barely rose the next time, and I was absolutely fine.

Fingers crossed for you x

Thanks to you all for replying, i have lost my baby so back to square one. Wishing you all the best with your babies xx
