The last three or four days have been no good. Since week 5 or so I've had awful morning sickness which has JUST begun to taper off. I still take my morning sickness 'cocktail' of b-6 and unisom at night, and most days get my b-6 dose in the morning. For the last 7 to 10 days I felt like I was getting better and better, then on Monday I started getting pretty awful headaches.
The only way I know to describe them is like an exhaustion headache. I'm not ill, I don't have sinus issues, ears are fine, glands seem oky doky, caffine intake is not an issue- etc. etc.
I should tell you I was pre eclamptic for my first DD 12 years ago which came on about week 25 or so (if I remember right). I had serious headaches with that too. My blood pressure is fine 118 over 62 as of last night but I'm getting some edema in the ankles and just overall general water retention (thought that is a very common general pregnancy symptom).
I guess I chalk it up at this point to the changing hormones at this stage of pregnancy. There's a lot that my body has been doing for this pregnancy up to this point, and now that the baby/placenta are taking over some of the hormone production etc. would this cause headaches?
(BTW these are not migrane-like headaches. Just grinding no fun headaches.)
Thanks momas!
