Headaches

Having some headache probs postpartum. Just got 1st pp period last month. Was dizzy a few days then changed to headache. Had light headaches whole month with severe one for 2 days around ovulation. Now have my period and more headaches. What is going on? Anyone else having pp period issues?

I'm EBF so not expecting my period to show up for some time yet but I have suffered with headaches post patrum. Seemed to have them about half of all days up to 6 weeks, now at eleven weeks they have eased off a lot.

You might be having menstrual migraines. I forget what it is actually called but I get them badly.

I get daily migraines from day 15 to day 39 of my cycle (I have long cycles). It's started this year.

I have headaches, I contributed it to the lack of sleep, the stress of a newborn and a toddler, the adjustment to being a SAHM instead of working, the hormonal changes...frankly if I didn't get a headache now and then I'd worry...I'm EBF so no ovulation/period hormones yet either!

When I had constant headaches and dizzy spells postpartum with both Louis and Alex it was to do with me being quite badly anaemic. If you have been dizzy that is also a symptom.

Also agree with minties about menstrual migraines. I get the worst migraine every month two days before my period starts and for the first day. Exercise and lower sugar diet has improved it so much for me.
