Anyone have severe recurring headaches? Like never go away. Im going on five weeks of it now. Span my whole head.. Worst at back at base of skull/ top of neck.. When i bend over it feels like my head will explode.
Tested for preeclampsia.. Negative
Massages every two weeks.. Not helping
Tylenol doesnt help.. Heat doesnt help.
Went to get checked for sinus infection.. Told i have fluid in one ear, no sinus infection and they wont give me anything for it.

What else can i do? Any advice?

How awful, I'm so sorry. Glad to hear that they checked for pre-eclampsia and that it was negative. Have you tried chiropractics or acupuncture? I was in a car accident last year and the only thing that helped the headaches was acupuncture.

I really hope you find relief soon.

Headed to chiro tomorrow after work. I truly think theyre being caused by sinus infection but dr tells me no and wont give me antibiotics :(

Good luck with the chiropractor. Maybe get a second opinion on the sinus infection, you could go to a walk in clinic. Are you really congested? Maybe trying a neti pot?

I was put in hospital for the same thing. I got dehydrated and key tones because I kept throwing up. The neurologist got me to have a lumbar puncture and also put me on a beta blocker called propranolol. Haven't had a headache since.

Hm I get pregnancy migraines. They were debilitating. I had them starting like week 5/6 and every day for weeks and weeks. Drinking more water didn't help, rest didn't help, dim lighting didn't help, tylenol didn't help... what seemed to help was I have a cup of coffee every day on my gyn's orders. She says I'm to drink it even on morning's I don't wake up with a headache. After a couple of days, I felt way better. I don't even need the coffee anymore now. But if it's from a sinus infection, no help there. I've had my sinus infection for a week now and nothing is helping.

I usually get a migraine every few weeks while not pregnant and always get them in the back of my head by my neck. I had a few last pregnancy and 1 so far this one. I have found that as soon as I feel it coming on (normally I feel a cold sensation like a wash cloth laid on my neck) I take meds then normally when pregnant I start out with 1 Tylenol 650 (arthritis strength) and then take a really hot shower and try to get the muscles to relax. This usually helps and normally I don't have to take anymore meds.

Try this, also if you like you can lay on the bed with your head off it this allows the muscles to relax as well and get some relief. I do hope you feel better

Sadly, most sinus infections are viral and not much to be done with antibiotics. Also, if it is bacterial my doc was explaining that as the bacteria is in the cavities in your face and it's really hard to get the antibiotics too them! I feel your pain though, I've not had one this pregnancy but I'm fairly prone too them! They can last for weeks and make you feel miserable! I find a nasal wash very helpful if a bit weird to do!

Hope you find some relief, doesn't sound pleasant! :(

I've suffered with awful headaches until third tri. Dr prescribed me migraine tablets so you could ask for those if you're absolutely desperate

The only thing I found to help was taking tylenol. My headaches in week 12 were horrendous. Woke me up all night, continued all day. And tylenol helped for a bit, but wore off quickly. But since nothing else was wrong, I just tried to take tylenol as said to on the bottle and put cold towels on my head. Pregnancy headaches are BAD!

Tylenol never did a thing for me, my OB gave me Fioricet. It helps sometimes, sometimes not. I try to drink lots of water to make sure I'm not dehydrated. The last major headache I got lasted 5 days, couldn't concentrate on work or anything. I work in a doctor's office, and I ended up going in the back and laying down with oxygen for about 15 minutes. Didn't work immediately but that night the headache went away. Supposedly it works pretty quickly though. We give oxygen to patients with migraines in the office all the time.

My last headache lasted 5 days...I'm headed into day 3 of this one. Did not have headaches line this with my daughter but maybe it's different this time since I'm having a boy. I'm very uncomfortable but am managing to function for the most part.

Try a Neti pot to rinse your sinuses out. It used a light saline mix and if you do it right- you don't feel the water in your sinuses. It helps my migraines a lot

I had an mri and found out i have sphenoiditis thats affecting my pituitary. Hard to get, harder to treat. Theres no pain killers that can give relief, even morphine hasn't proven to be effective on it in studies. On antibiotics for minimum 2 weeks then maybe referral to ENT specialist
