Health Issue in geting pregnant??

Just wondering if any of you have had trouble in conceiving with having the folowing health issues?
asthma
and possible poyl-sistic overies sp? ( not sure if this is what may be causing AF to be irregular, I have a doctor's appointment on Fri. )

We haven't been trying long but are so excited to be parents I just want to make sure I am doing everyhting possible for us from a medical and healthy stand point.

Advice would be great thanks
