Has anyones doctor been able to find baby's heartbeat on doppler at an 8 week appointment? With anterior placenta?

8 weeks is generally too early even if you DONT have an anterior placenta. i found mind for the first time at 10weeks and thats early.

My dr. Can't find baby heartbeat at 9 weeks but I find baby heartbeat at home. Not really easy to find when you that early. A lot people say 12 weeks should be able but someone can't find heartbeat till 20 weeks.

So weird.. my docs estimated I was at 11 weeks based on LMP at my first appointment, where they found babys heartbeat relatively easy. At 18 week ultrasound I found out I was actually 3 weeks earlier (so 15 weeks) which puts baby at 8 weeks at my first appointment. I've had three ultrasounds which all show baby growing at the right pace.

So confused still as to how I could be 3 weeks earlier than I suspected and be able to find heartbeat at week 8! Guess its a mystery :/

I heard it at 8 weeks at the doctors with a doppler, but I have a posterior placenta. I'd already been picking it up at home on my doppler before that visit as well and my dates are 100% accurate. We only had sex once and I had used opk's to confirm OV, so no doubt as to my dates.
I don't see any reason why your doctor couldn't have found it that early as well.
