heartbeat seen at 6 week 3 days. measured 5 weeks 2 weeks ago!

I had a scan 2 weeks ago and he measured the yolk sac about 5 weeks. Went today and the fetus is measuring 6 week 3 days. Heartbeat was seen.

I assumed it would measure 7 weeks today though??

Can anyone shed any light xxx

It's pretty normal to be a few days behind. My little one's measuring 4 days behind and I was told it's not a concern at all, it could just be he/she was curled up or they were a millimetre or two out or something.

Gah tell me about it! I have to say I fretted a bit about my measurement too, I was really hoping to be on target or ahead so I wouldn't have any doubts!

Although the sac measured 5 weeks, it's no indication of the baby....so for the 2 measurements to be off is normal.
