Hi everyone! Was just wondering if you think I should be worried that I can't find my babies heartbeat with the Doppler anymore? They are so right when they say these things are a bad idea! I got it a few times last week and now I can't find it and I'm really worried! Any tips or advice? Xx I'm twelve weeks btw.

Well, my midwife couldn't even find my LO's heart beat until 14 weeks.

They're so little then it can be hard to fine them, they're sneaky! As long as youre not bleeding or cramping I'd try not to worry about it. Have something sugary which should get baby moving and out of hiding and try again. =]

12 weeks is really early hun and baby is only about 8cm long if that so could be hiding anywhere. the midwife couldnt find my babies at all until 16 weeks so i wouldnt worry at the moment hun x

Don't worry yourself, I'm 31 weeks and my doppler is shit. I can never find AJ's heartbeat for more than a second, but I can sure as hell hear when he kicks the damn thing, makes it make a really loud bang right in my ear - ouchy :haha: xx

12 weeks is very early. Thank god I didn't have my doppler that early otherwise I would've been hyperventilating. I was checking the heartbeat like 5 x a day when I got mine at 34 weeks, and sometimes when I couldn't find it I'd think the worst! Don't worry and stress about it hun, everything is fine! Dopplers are HORRIBLE!! haha :)

me and jen were told NOT to get 1 nether and i think thats the best idea to stay away from them...we call in at the hospital every 2 weeks and they check it for us to make sure all is okay...20 week scan on wed ....:)

Thanks everyone you've really put my mind at ease :). Got a scan on wednesday so not too long to find out if everything okay! Hope everyones doing well xx
