Am I suppose to heat up the baby food before giving it to LO?..if it's only been refrigerated and not frozen?? If so how do you guys do it? I hear microwaving is not recommended. Even if its only been refrigerated, it seems to cold to give it just like that to baby. Today I placed the small jar in a pot of boiling water and left it there for about 3 min. then took it out and served LO, but there really was no way to know for sure if it was warm enough or cold enough. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with this part…Anyone please????

i don't use jars often but if i do i give them at room temp, if they go in the fridge after being opened i put some in a bowl and heat in micro for about 10 secs then just make sure i give it a good mix up and taste it to see if its too hot or cold.

my little boy is happy eating baby food in jars or pouches at room temp, i always taste a bit first to see how cool it is, but i usually freeze our meals for him, he currently has some broccoli, cauliflower, chicken and potatoes blended up and frozen into portions and he has blended chicken soup in portions too

I bung it in microwave if its a non-fruit jar... just because i wouldnt like to eat cold meat/veg myself. 15 seconds usually does it for me but thats just half a jar in a bowl (she never eats a whole jar).
