Heavy bleeding 6 weeks after caesarean

I had my caesarean 6 weeks ago.
I bleed afterwards and then had clear discharge and literally stop for a day. Then this week started bleeding again this time it's quite heavy and having to change my pad every couple of hours.
Just wondered what is normal as getting worried.
Thinking of ringing docs tomorrow morning if no better.

at 6 weeks it could be normal, or it may not be. If you had stopped prior it could be a sign of over doing it. But personally i'd call your doctor and maybe get checked out. Better safe than sorry.

It sounds normal to me, but it could be a sign that you may be doing to much and to slow down. I would ring the doctor just incase.

Could it be your first period? Esp if you aren't breastfeeding those first ones can be very early, - one of my friends, even despite nursing every few hours still gets her first post natal period exactly a month after delivering! Like super fertile I guess! Worth getting checked out though just to make sure it's not infection or anything else, but if you had stopped completely and now restarted I would like period is most likely. Hope you feel better soon
