Hi hon, I'm Daphne. I'm 17, 18 in a month. I'm 20 weeks and expecting a little boy in November.


I'm sorry your FOB is being such a jerk. It's not okay that he did that to you, but it's also not your fault. Telling your mom will help you get a lot off your back, you'll feel better. If your grandfather abandoned her, she'll be supportive of you since she knows how it feels. Everything will be okay as long as you work your hardest to try to make it so. Don't give up.

I have this feeling, of feeling so stupid for suspecting this.

The father made me feel so bad for suspecting it, I suspected it at like 3 weeks because of random cramping. But he told be I wasnt and I was being stupid.

I mean we used protection, and we didnt see any tears and anything, so I honestly have no idea how it happened you know? I mean I know the positives dont lie, but I feel really stupid you know.

He was denying I was so hard, and I kinda dismissed everything I was feeling as random things...gosh ><

No birth control is 100% effective. You don't need to feel bad, or stupid.

I'm sorry you're going through so much right now hun! I hope everything works out okay! You deffinetly need to tell your mom. The first week after breaking the news is a little awkward, but after that it seems like parents become supportive Also if you have a cell phone with a camera you could send the father a picture of your pregnancy test!

Ive tried to take pictures of the positives, but the camera sucks, and the positives are still light, I think my hormones were too low to stop my period, but this month they are way higher, and it stopped it. So the test are waaay darker, but still wont show up on my phone. Im gonna get a digital, though.

and thank you for the support, I told a mutual friend I missed my second period and even he doesnt believe me. -sigh-

Im sorry hun. I suggest you get a digi and take it first thing in the morning and send him a picture. Also if you are scared of telling your mom face to face why not write her a note or something. I hope you the best.

sorry to hear about the FOB hun sometimes it takes men a LONGGGGGG LONG LONG time to come around and some unfortunatly never do! best thing is to do whats best for you and your baby! talking to your mum will take a huge weight off your back and then you can go see a doctor who will sort all your care out for you! they can also confirm the pregnancy if u aint 100%... Also your ex should remember that condoms are only 97% effective against pregnancy ... they really are useless... the pill is 99.9% and i got caught out on that so it can and does happen!

Id leave him for a while until you have had your first docs appointment/midwifes... and talked to your mum then sit down and write him a letter explaining you are in fact pregnant and he is the father and if a paternity test is what he is insisting on then just say he can have it... even if u dont plan on allowing it atleast it wont give him the advantage of using that against you...Good luck hun x

Hey guys, my body is so whacky.

I got what I think could be a period yesterday, it lasted about a day, maybe a half. and it was enough to fill maybe a pad? I kept switching to moniter how much I was bleeding, but no big clots or anything. Sorry to TMI, but I took apart the pad to see how much was actually leaking through, and it was more on the surface of it than the actual cotton thing.

I think im gonna be one of those girls who have periods through the first trimester because this one was barely a period. I ordered some more test to make sure everything is fine. I took a test yesterday morning during the bleeding and it still came up positive.

And I think I can feel my uterus, its a few inches below my belly button and starts at my pubic bone and its the size of my palm, its hard..but I was wondering would it hurt the baby if I poked it?

Congrats on your pregnancy, but I would go to the doctor if youve had any bleeding, like phone them now

Your uterus comes above your pubic bone when your 12 weeks along so unless your not sure of dates, i wouldnt think it was that you could feel

But yeah, phone your docs and get the bleeding checked asap
