Hi there. I've been a bit scarce lately, due to the fact we're moving into our new home in a matter of weeks and have been swamped with preparations. But I have my Gyno appointment today with the new guy. I must admit he was SO indepth I was pretty impressed. He explained everything he was doing with me which made me feel much more safe with him.

He said seeing as how I've had (and lost) a pregnancy he does not think we need to do a Lap right now, as blocked tubes are not a concern (at this point). So he wants to put me back on Clomid and Metformin once again but increase the dosage. He said we will try this for 6 months, and if nothing comes of it he said we will start to look at more direct methods, such as IVF.

Soooooooo....I feel pretty confident. Even though we're sort of in the same situation I feel much more secure with the new Gyno.

Fingers crossed.
I'll be back more frequently around the first week of next month, when life finally starts to give me a breather!

Lots of hugs girls
:hugs:

Hi Ney Ney, havent seen you on here for a while and glad your back! Good to hear that you got a new consultant that you feel comforable with-to be honest with you it's half the battle won!

So good luck sweetie and hope all tour dreams come true!XX

I'm so pleased you found a gyno that you're happy with. I believe it makes the world of difference :hugs:

So you start next round of clomid when AF arrives?

Best of luck

Hey NeyNey

Lovely to have you back - excellent news that the gyno has been so proactive!!

Not wishing to get your hopes up BUT.... my friend was on clomid etc. for 12 months with no luck having been TTC for 2 years. In those 3 months she also suffered a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Well when they upped her doseage she fell pregnant and had a lovely little girl who is now 3. So it took them 4 years but they got there!! When it came to TTC #2 they put her on a lower dose of clomid and gave her a lap and flushed her tubes, after a year with no luck they then gave her a hormone injection and she fell when they used that.

Hope your luck is as good as hers was hun!

Happy moving!! xx:hug:
