Hello

I've been lurking for quite a while now, and decided to come out of the corner and say hello. It's been really helpful to find out there are other people who are going through the same things and wondering the same things as I have been for so long.

As it stands today, we've been TTC for 15 months now since I came off the BCP. Cycle's have been all over the place - took me 6 months to have a period at all, then anything from 36 to a memorable 78 days in length.

I saw my doc in May and have had blood tests, examinations and a hycosy so far. Started Clomid this cycle - 13th August - and am waiting to see what happens. When I was 19 (25 now) I had a lap which showed endo - I think it's back as the hycosy showed my right tube is blocked and I have pain most days plus horrendous AF's - shortest one has been this cycle at 10 days, but 21-23 has been quite usual....:wacko:

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and I hope that you are all OK with me posting straight in here!

Aeven x

Definitely join us sweetie - and I hope the clomid brings brilliant results for you.

Bx x x x :hugs::hugs:

hello :wave: and best of luck with the Clomid :)

:wave: hi hun :wave:. I hope your stay with us is nice and short and you will be skipping over to 1st tri very soon.

:hug:

Welcome :hugs:

I hope the clomid works for you. Did they remove any of the endo when you had the lap?

Thanks for the welcome!

FJL - they did remove the endo when I had the lap and then i took my pills 6 months straight, but as I say, that was 6 years ago and I think it's come back with a vengeance.

I've def ov'd this month (lovely high temps and currently 6DPO) so the Clomid's done it's job there, I'm just hoping and praying it was the good side! It's just so good to see my temps go up for the first time ever - and DH is so sweet as every morning he asks if i'm still warm!

Anyway, I hope that for all of you, wherever you are in your TTC journeys that there's not far to go now :dust:

Welcome and so glad to hear the CLomid's working so far. If you can, ask for the scans as well, then they can see which side the follicle is on and measure everything as you go along. I've been getting this but I notice from other people's experiences that it depends on your local NHS authority on whether or not you get it. Worth asking I'd say...
