Hello All,
This is my first post/first night on the site. I'm 25, expecting my first. It was an "oops" but we are THRILLED and cannot wait for baby to be here. I am 19 weeks. We live in California and my name is Jenilee
So I'm actually here for advice. Throughout my pregnancy my hubby & I have maintained a steady sex life. And I have thoroughly enjoyed pregnancy sex!! However, last week at work I started bleeding. My husband met me at the ER and apparently I have a condition called partial placenta privea, which I knew very little about and now know a lot about. I'm not on bed rest but he is monitoring things very closely and says I will most likely need a C-section. Which I am horribly disappointed about What is also more immediately disappointing is that I've been ordered off sex... and off orgasms(!) from here on in. My hubby is super supportive but also very frustrated as he was also enjoying the sex we were having. I haven't been in the mood to please him "other ways" and this has led to some discourse. I've secretly been struggling really bad too with the lack of orgasms. I typically get there fairly easily during sex, so my body has been used to the consistency of that the past few months. And to have it taken away has been an adjustment. I guess I'm open to suggestions/tips/advice on this. I cant talk to my husband about it. I'm not comfortable with possibly starting an argument or anything.
Thanks ladies
Jen
