So I'm getting scheduled for a csection week before Christmas for twin girls. My husband has no baby experience, I gave plenty but not sure how recovery will go, and my mom will be coming out a week after. My question is: from those that had a csection with twins (or even a singleton) how much help did you need after? How were you feeling? Should I line up more help for that week before my mom arrives? I'm posting this in a few places for plenty of perspective :-)

My in-laws were here which was nice, my MIL took care of the meals and tidying up but if she hadn't been here and it was just me and my husband we would have been fine. I'm not sure how it would be with twins just because it is nice to get some sleep while someone else watches the baby(or babies) but for me we would have been ok if it had just been us. As long as your hubby is the helpful type and not the type to sit and wait to be asked anything I would assume you'd be fine.
:hugs:

I needed quite a bit of help in the first week, I struggled to move, even try to turn over in bed hurt, took ages to walk up the stairs, and it hurt to lift my new born and he was only 4lb 6oz. its worth getting as much help as you can.
