I am new to the sight but just wondered if any one could offer any advice or a bit of an explanation.......
We have TTC for around 8 months now, I have been pregnant before but miscarried after 7 weeks.
The doctor suspects I have PCOS however that has not been confirmed and is still being looked into.
Anyway my last period started 23rd December and usually have 32 day cycle. I went into hospital for a planned operation on 14th January which is day 23 of my cycle. After giving a urine sample (first wee of the day) 4 pregnancy tests were completed at hospital with 4 faint positives (I did see them very faint but could be clearly seen). Due to this the consultant obviously decided not to complete the operation and booked me in for a scan for another 3 weeks time (6 weeks pregnant). As you can imagine I was very happy but a bit confused as still 9 days from period so slightly sceptical. I then completed a HPT on the night and Clear blue digital with conception indicator AM 15/12/2010 both negative. I had a blood test today which was negative. I am so confused as to why the hospital read 4 positive and now a negative blood.
What do people make of this? The DR cant explain, my only thought is it could be too early to confirm by blood, but why positive urine test.
I was Nil by mouth PM 13/12/2010 so was urine just very concentrated, or am I just dreaming that I could be pregnant. So frustrating.
