Hello Guys/Gals

Looking for a bit of advice/reassurance.

Alex is normally a really good feeder, has between 4 and 6ox every 3 to 4 hours during the day.

Well today hes hardly had any milk, he had a 4am feed of 4oz, then up until 3.30pm he took 4oz. At 3.30pm he did take 5oz which was brill.
Have been offering him feeds all day and hes just not interested.

He doesnt seem in any pain/discomfort, he did have a red cheek earlier and i did think perhaps he may be teething???? But i thought teething was 6months or so?

Just a bit worried that hes not having milk, he gets weighed weekly due to him having surgery at 2wks old and was weighed yesterday.

Anyone please offer any advice?

Thanks x

Sorry havent got any advice just wanted to ask how he is doing now? If it continues or u r concerned phone hv?

Teething can start from any age hun, some babies born with teeth. If you are bothered call your HV :)

Thanks girls, he tookn 3oz at 10pm last night, woke at 6am and had 4oz, then at 10am he had 2oz......i played mean mum and made him last till 1.30 before feeding him, it did the trick he took 6oz so he seems back on track xxx

Connah has a few 'off days' where he will not take much during the day and iv always found(after checking he is not in pain etc) that he is fine,Hope he's ok now though?xx
