Boy names are so much harder than girl names to pick ones that work for babies and will suit a grown man.... we need help!!!

Please share any ideas....

Alexander is a firm favourite here. Alex is cute for a little boy and an adult as is the full the name x

I think these work all the way through life: Robert (could be Bobby as a boy), George, Lucas, William, Edward, Miles, Henry, Michael, Matthew, James, Alexander, Isaac, Evan, Oliver, Peter, Thomas, Callum, Joseph, David, Nathan, Charles (Charlie), Harry, Maxwell, Benjamin, Samuel, Christopher, Stanley.

I think most of the traditional ones are fine. For me personally, names like Alfie are more like a nick name and may not suit a grown man.

Alexander, Samuel, Joseph, Wayne, Cameron, Harry, Jack, Aidan, Marc, Joe, Steven, David.

I know my son is only two but Jack seemed to suit him brilliantly as a tiny little newborn and now as a rambunctious toddler. I think it's a good name for a teenager/young adult and also suits grown and old men. It's a keeper!

I have a little boy called calvin. Suited him when he was born and will suit him when he's older

My LO is Adam! I think it works well at all ages!

Or you could go down this route.....

Alexander = Alex as a kid, Zander as a teenager then Sandy for an older man or James = Jamie as a child and jim\jimmy as an older gent!

My son is Evan which I think works well on all ages.

What about: Arthur, Michael, Lucas, Thomas, Oliver, Peter, Isaac, Samuel, William, Edward, Daniel, Quinn?

I think most of the more traditional names suit all ages but also take into account the change in name trends. By the time our children are grown up there will be adults called Apple and Philadelphia all over the place! I wouldn't stress too much :)

I was a bit iffy about Ollie as an adult, then I met a 32 year old called Ollie and I didn't think twice about it. I think once it's their name, if it suits the person it doesn't matter how old they are!

DS1 is Toby (Tobias) and DS2 will (hopefully) be Elliot when he makes an appearance, unless I change my mind!

Both to me work for all ages and are traditional but not too common which is what I was after :)
