help!! boys names...6days overdue and runnin outta time!

hiya all.
ok so me and baby's dad are having major name issues.
we've chosen girls name but when it comes to boys i like modern, different and not harsh. he likes masculine and tradition.

i really like- Arran/ Aaron. Euan. Ryan. Jamie. Sam

he likes- ethan. logan. robert. john. i do like ethan but i wouldnt call my baby it.

does anyone have any ideas? i really need help. it cant have a d in it though. too many d's in surname so sounds weird.
please help!

I really like Ryan and Sam from your list and LOVE Logan and John from your OH's list , so im not much help im afraid, but I do think that there are some good names there . xx

the main issue is his name is robert john.
so he wanted it to be named after him.
i wasnt really happy with that cause we're not together anymore and he's been awful after last few months.

i just kind of said to him that if it wasnt linked to either family then it would really be fairer.
so i dropped the idea of having my mums name as middle name of little girl.
i thought i was bein reasonable by sayin that cause everythins been so bad between us.
just really hard

How about the name Andrew? It's traditional and masculine like the baby's father wants... but it's also trendy & popular like you want. You can call him Andy or Drew for short!

Andrew means: manly, brave, fighter
