My knees given way this morning, it goes every so often but haven't had a problem for a few years. The only way to help it in the past has been to take ibuprofen and keep it rested and elevated!
Can I even take ibuprofen???? It swells up on the inside which is why paracetamol has never really helped
And I don't know how I'm supposed to rest it and elevate it with a toddler running riot!! Ugh so painful! I can't put any weight on it!!!!! :(

For me i have always been told not to and to take paracetamol instead.

Yeah I thought so.. I'll pop a paracetamol and hope for the best!
Thanks!

I think ibuprofen is deffo a no no.

Maybe try paracetamol and if it doesn't help speak to a doctor or pharmacist about if there is anything stronger or better you can take during pregnancy.

Already been answered with what I was going to say but I'll stick my two pennies worth in anyway!
Yeah ibuprofen is a no no, so I would take paracetamol and maybe ask your doc or midwife next time you see them if there are any alternatives, but I don't think that there are.

Also, use ice, it's a wonderful natural anti inflammatory. 20min on, off for an hr.

Thanks ladies, it's a miracle! It's literally all better!!
Usually takes a few days but some how it's all fine???
Very lucky as I don't know how I would've managed being pregnant on crutches with a toddler on my own!
Phew!!
