Help!! CD 3 dilema!

so im having a dilema!!! its cd 3 today (full flow started the evening of sunday but i had 1 whipe of red on saturday and 1 whipe of brown on friday) so im supposed to go to have my blood taken today but i realised this morning that the test might be effected by the wine i drank last night... i dont feel hungover but i have read that alcohol the night before can effect the tests for thyroid... stupid me not hinkingof that last night, i just felt like oh well i have no work and im on my AF so no point avoiding alcohol! so im thinking its probably best to go tomorrow on cd 4 rather than today with the posibility of alcohol being in my system... arg i wish i had though of this last night!

this is what the test is for...

s-testosterone shbg kvot
s-östradiol

thats in swedish im not sure if they mean other things in english...

oh i feel so so angry at myself

the labs are closed sat and sun... so i guess there must be some margin for error in terms of days... like if af started on thursday you'd have to go in on monday which would be cd 4...

the other thing is that the fs said to count 1st day of spotting as cd.. that would be friday and make today cd 5 allready!

what would you do???

I would ring the clinic and ask them for advice.

I had this last cycle with my CD21, it fell on a sunday, so I was told to go in on the monday which was CD24.

thats a good idea.. the only problem is that i live in sweden but im english... so its really hard to comunicate with them.. i have got my OH to ring them!

I just didnt think about it whilst i was enjoying a nice glass of wine last night! its a public holiday in schools (where i work) here in sweden today so it was like a friday evening, nice and relaxing... why didnt i think

oops i had a glass of wine last night and just had my blood drawn for the same tests this morning ah well it's too late now !

My oh phoned the doctors and they Said it would be fine, so of to the hospital now thank you for all the advice and Hood luck with the results sugarpuff

Did they tell you not to drink? I had my CD 3 blood test as well and I cannot remember if they said not to drink. Like the other ladies suggested call the clinic and make sure. Hopefully you can get in so you don't have to wait till CD 3 next month for results. Good luck.

They didnt say dont drink, just that i have to have been awake for more than 3 hours. Bloods taken, now we just have to wait till jan 16 for the answeres!!

Don't worry about the odd glass of wine, if they didn't say not to drink, it shouldn't be a problem!!

Im not really sure what they would do if something showed up as wrong anyway... They just seem to refere everyone for IVF here anyway... I guess the IVF dr Will do à whole load more tests!
