Since 4 weeks we noticed he would struggle to poop, would strain but generally get it out and be happy afterwards, but its got progressively worse.
We tried gas drops thinking maybe he was gassy and then it was causing constipation, but this doesnt seem to be the problem, he passes gas all day long without an issue without the gas drops, and he burps fine after a feed.
But pooping? its a nightmare, he strwtches his legs right out tense and then pulls them back up in a fetal position and repeats over and over. He gets so worked up too it can be hard to get him to calm down, and can take hours.
so over night he slept...6hours total, and during the day 2 hours so far
Ive had 4 hours sleep, ime xhausted too.
I hate seeing him so upset and clearly in discomfort. I called his dr but they were closed.
Is there anything I can do for him to help with the constipation that is safe?
