Help First Appointment, Bit Confused

My midwife said the bloods are required by the government in the uk. Because theres no safe sex anymore the government want to know where the problems are. Ob checking for the baby and mothers health too.

I guess they can not afford to give them out. The nhs is doing so many cutbacks these days even with that there perhaps saving money.
