HELP - Friends thinks there is no way to tell at 16 weeks.

I had a gender scan done at 16 weeks 3 days to determine the gender of my baby. The scanner was sure it was a BOY straight away. My friend says there is no way to tell until 20 weeks as that is what she was told and that his penis could be an umbilical cord lol Can someone have a look and tell me if this is deff a boy haha I am so sure it is.

No expert here , but to me thats a definite BLUE !! congrats !

With DS2 I was told at 13 -14 weeks scan that we are having a boy

Thanks sixzigma, I think deff blue but she has put me in doubt now

I have my morphology scan in 2 weeks so I guess they will double confirm for me then.

My friend wanted a boy for her first (openly admits) but had a girl. She is now 11 weeks with her second and is so sure its another girl.... I guess hearing I was having a boy was something she didnt want to know right now.

I had a 16 week scan and saw straight away mine is a girl-confirmed at 20 weeks. Looks blue to me.

Your friend is being ridiculous, of course you can tell at 16 weeks! Why else would they do gender scan's from then?

Definitely a boy! We found out with my son at 16 weeks as well and it was right.

Gender.. Had all 3 of my boys confirmed then and the girl
I'm carrying now was told at 16 weeks, has been confirmed since numerous times xx

Gender has fully developed by 16 weeks, its definitely sometimes clearer to see at 20 weeks then earlier on.
