Firstly i didn't realise that clomid makes you O, I thought it just made you produce follicles but a lady I spoke to on here said it makes you O. I then googled it and yes it does make you O so that leaves me confused why would anyone need the trigger?

Next thing is, my temp has elevated so I think cd15 I O'd, that being said I would be 3dpo which is too early for symptoms I'm sure, however this is how I'm feeling today... apologies in advance for TMI

More gassy
Electric shock like twinges lower tummy... not exactly painful just strange
Dizzy and spaced out feeling
Headachey
Uncomfortable feeling in my back a slight ache lower back
Been to the toilet for quite a few number 2s today
Random smells of oh :spermy:

Sorry for the TMI but it's just crazy how I'm feeling and wondered if anyone else feels the same or felt this way and went on to get a bfp

Anyone that does or doesn't think I O'd yet also would be great to get opinions to help me from going insane haha xx

The trigger helps the follicles mature and trigger the release of mature eggs. The clomid only helps you stimulate ovulation. The trigger with the clomid would work together more efficiently then the clomid alone.

Yes, I have plenty of strange symptoms too- and yes, 3dpo is way too early to be indicative of anything. It is fairly normal for the body to show some symptoms or signs of pregnancy. It is kind of cruel!

I did both the clomid + trigger but I know you and I have chatted on other threads but you are more than welcome to PM me if you want to talk more! Seems we are on similar plans and schedules.

Implantation of the fertilized egg occurs between 5 to 10 days after ovulation so this seems a little early for you to know if you are pregnant.

My Chinese fertility herbalist told me to eat pineapple including the core (they have to be very ripe to eat the core) to help with implantation after ovulation. I don't if it did the trick or not. I just did everything she said and I pregnant when nothing helped before. I tried for 7 years before I called her so I did everything she said and I don't really know what worked but it doesn't hurt to eat pineapple and it might even help so what the heck. It is worth trying at this point in your cycle.

Wow congratulates first of all.

Thank you for that tip, I'm really not a fan of pineapple but I'll give anything a try.

Any other tips? Xx

I dont want to be the Debbie Downer, but I was fooled pretty good last month with my "pregnancy symptoms". :( Clomid will give some award winning side effects that perfectly mimic early pregnancy. I read that, and disregarded it. Then it happened to me, and (again) got my hopes way high, just to get bfn's and AF arrived.

From what I've read, it usually takes 2-6 cycles with clomid, and if by the 6th cycle it hasn't worked (some drs go with 3 tries), then they say it most likely wont work for you.

Some women trigger with clomid so the can time BD perfectly. My O was 3 days late with my 1st round and 2 days late with my 2nd clomid round.

No its good to hear about people's experiences it all helps so thank you

I just have constant headaches and sensitive nipples and that's as far as my symptoms go now.
I keep telling myself that each cycle I'm not getting pregnant it means I'll be a little less fat on my wedding day in April haha xx
