Help- hes been up for 8 hours!

my newborn has been up for 8 hours! every time he falls asleep he wakes himself up, i am dreading the night. i dont know why he does this. i even tried holding him so that he will sleep and it didnt work

Hun, the only thing i can't think of is maybe swaddling him so he doesn't move his arms and wakes him up, or let him cry and get himself off back to sleep

yeah, make sure his tummys full, bath him and swaddle him, that should get him to sleep! You might actually get an easy nite x

Does babs have a dummy? I never swaddled my boy, but he would occasionally startle himself and wake up. Could he be waking up for any other reason? Wind maybe?
