Im stuck on ideas of what to give Maisie for her lunch :dohh:, im sticking to finger foods so i can get her used to them.

So far shes had
Toast
Cheese on toast
Jam on toast
Pieces of fruit.

And thats it, i cant think of what else to give her :dohh:. Shes on breakfast and dinner, im giving her jars for dinner atm but i do want to start making my own foods for her soon.

Any advice would be lovely xxx

Ruby likes bread dipped in soup, so I have soup and dip some bread in for her, so that's both our lunch sorted. :) Can be messy though.

Little sandwiches, with mashed avocado in them? Or anything that sticks the sandwich together, like cheese spread (obv check salt content)

Various steamed veg with hoummous is another one we do

what about some steamed veggies?

We've had...

Scrambled egg on toast
Egg sandwiches
Omelette
Jam on toast
Banana on toast
Bacon baguettes
Crumpets
Pancakes
Fruit
Yogurts
Breadsticks
Beans on toast

Erm if I think of any more I'll add them but it's usually toast based tbh.

For lunch at the moment Ryan is having one piece of bread (as with two there's a hell of a mess lol)
I butter it and then add either jam or cheese spread,
I then offer cucumber(which he loves and soothes his gums,i also cut the green rim off as then he can eat it properly which he loves!)
If not cucumber he has banana or a rusk or rice cake.
Then i offer him a yoghurt..

xx

beans on toast (sry aint read everyones replies) eggs / soup / tuna and pasta erm cant think of much eles me self, wot bout mash/carrots/gravy with chicken :)

Ours is usually toast based too.

Jam on toast
Cheese on toast
Tried marmite on toast but she hated it!
Pankcakes
Pitta bread with tomato puree and dairy lea
Fruit

Seems a bit restrictive now!

How do you guys get the scrambled egg and beans to stay on the toast?!

They don't!

Chaise likes:

Banana sandwiches, egg sandwiches, bread dipped in soup, cheese biscuits, strips of cheese.

Can't think of anything else, I might steal some ideas from this thread :)

We often have baked potato, either normal or sweet. Very quick if done in the microwave, and can either be cut into wedges, or eaten off a spoon. We have them with houmous, tuna, cheese, spinach, tomatoes (Freya's favourite!).
