Help i'm so confused!!

Ok so today is my ovulation day and I am as dry as a bone sorry if thats tmfi!!

I had my period but it wasnt normal it came and then by day 3 it was gone, day 3 is usually really heavy, then a few days later I got cervical mucus and it was messy. I have been timing my cycle to a tee and I am 100% sure that today is the day I ovulate. Is this normal? Is it possible I ovulated early? We BD'd last night but if I wasn't ovulating..then does that mean we have missed our chance? Help needed!!! x

this has never happened before, I know i have been under a lot of stress lately, im wondering if that is the reason....

I read somewhere that stress can mess up your cycle, so that might be why (but then again, I am new to that NTNP/TTC business so I don't know!)

Stress would make your body ovulate later rather than sooner.
As far as your AF being lighter and shorter, that can be caused by a change in hormones. Were you on bcp or anything like that in the past 5 months?

i've never had BCP, I am very stressed atm going to write off this month tbh too much stress, if there is a chance that something is in there I very much doubt it would survive :'(

i have also had a strange irregular af this past cycle. its never happened to me before so i want even sure it was af i didnt know what whas going on. basically i have a 35 day cycle and then i started spotting after like 17 days and i spotten for 10 days and then it seemed my new cycle started. so i have no idea why.

i called the gyni and she told me i dont need to come in there is probably nothing wrong. irregular periods are very common and due to hormone changes so mostly nothing to worry about. so im sure its the same for you.

thanks resin, that has put my mind to rest now, heres hoping it gets back to normal soon, I have been under a lot of stress and I think that might be why. x
