I Am about 2 weeks PP my sons birth. My recovery was very simple this time around.. I only Bled for a few days and not very heavy. I was up and walking the next day after my c section and I've felt great. Well last night I had what felt like terrible period cramps. Wasn't bleeding or anything but was in pain. This morning cramping somewhat stopped. But about an hour ago I felt a huge gush of blood. Leaked thru my pants and it was bad. I went to clean up and noticed a clot and brown ifs red blood. But it seemed to have stopped. I'm cramping a bit again but just wondering why this happened 2 weeks later? Should I call my dr? I just moved into a new house so I haven't really been taking it easy.

It could be you've been over doing it as your only 2weeks pp but if your worried and in a lot of pain or there's loads of blood, it's probably best to get checked over

I agree, I think you may be pushing yourself beyond what your incision can handle.

IMO, it doesn't hurt to call. They'll probably tell you to monitor the number of pads your bleed through, but clots sound serious to me.

I had clots about a week after along with mild cramping.
It does sound to me like you're overdoing it as well.
I don't think it would hurt to give them a call just to make sure.
Hope you feel better soon!

It does sound like you may be overdoing it. I felt really well after my 2nd c-section but I knew I couldn't push myself because I did with my first and ending up tearing my lower back muscles and not being able to walk for 5 months. As long as the clots are not large than an egg, you should be okay. Don't hesitate to call your doctor with any concerns though! :hugs:

I would start bleeding again if I was walking too much or doing too much lifting. Hope you're feeling better now!

I would get it checked out, especially if you are not feeling well. I had similar symptoms after my section and I had to be admitted into hospital with a uterine infection. all the best x
