I've had a really uncomfortable night, tossing and turning... and I got up to go to the bathroom. When I wiped there was a CLEAR jelly-like glob on the tissue paper. Please tell me this isn't labor starting...

That has exactly happened to me also this morning, I think it is the mucus plug, but would like to hear from others.

I also had something similar this morning!! although I had normal discharge with a tiny stringy bit of blood? Completely confusing isn't it? x

Sounds like your plug but that can come out in bits and can start happening weeks before labour starts so don't panic. You might find you have another bit of plug go in a couple/few weeks and then go into labour some time after that.

Yes sounds like it to me. It can be clear/ yellow/ green/ pink/ smeared with blood.
You actually have a surprisingly big amount of plug in there. I've been losing mine for weeks (I'm now overdue).
It normally doesn't mean labour is imminent unless it's a significant amount- pink/ with steaks of blood through it. Even then it's not always the case and some people are still waiting weeks later.

Sorry, I didn't see you had twins on board. It could possibly be the early signs of labour (which again could go on a bit), but to come around the 34 week mark is not unusual for twins.

Thank you ladies!!! I called L&D just to double check and she said it DOES sound like the mucus plug, but it wasn't that much and I'm not contracting. WHEW!! It's weird, you prepare for 9 months and then when things actually happen you're like... WHAT WAS THAT?!? :)

I just need to hold out at least 24 more hours, I'm dropping my hubby off at the airport this morning but he'll be back late in the evening the same day... Then I can go into labor anytime! lol

Awww i hope they hang on a little longer. It is a bit scary when something happens and then you think omg this is it!! :-D
