I know it's early I'm only 7 weeks pregnant but after two scary births where both my babies got stuck I'm crapping myself. Before I got pregant this time around I went to my gp regarding an ELCS, he wrote to a consultant who sent me this letter:
Thank you for your enquiry with regard to maternal request the for planned elective cesarian section. Following new NICE guidelines last year we are obliged to consider maternal choice of cesarian section so we will agree to the request.
I was under the impression this ment I could have one, when I told my midwife she just said you can discuss this at your 20 week appointment, now I'm having severe anxiety because I wanted this all sorted early on!
What do you think?
