Woo how exciting! So glad you got to find out. On a side note, weird that a 12 week scan seems to be taken as more accurate than a 9 week scan as it's the other way around here, the earlier the more accurate.

I'm not sure if they were saying it is more accurate, but she didn't spend long measuring CRL today (so it might not be that accurate) she was more concerned with checking for a nice strong heart beat, healthy womb etc.

Oh wow! I am so happy for you that you found out! 9 weeks is pretty far into your first trimester. I am in your exact same boat. I was on birth control when I got pregnant and I have absolutely no clue how far along I am. According to my LMP, I am somewhere around 7 weeks. I put myself a week behind because I am going off of when I got a positive test.

But I will find out how far along I am on August 25th. I am glad you were able to get a private scan and find out for sure. It is very nerve-wracking not knowing.
