HELP! Ovulate or provera

I just started taking provera (10 tabs - once a day) to stimulate a period after day-21 labs showed NO ovulation. The fert.dr. wants me to take the provera and then start clomid. However, I've been kind of crampy and so for kicks I POAS to see if I ovulated and it's + (wait, I think?)!! But I took my first tab of provera yesterday. Have you ever been in this situation or know what happens if I stop the provera or should I just continue it. I had my day21 labs 4 days ago. I guess it's POSSIBLE to ovulate but not likely. I'm so irregular...so anything is possible. Maybe I'm getting excited over nothing. I think it could be mistaken for a pos but then again I think the colors are neg - my DH thinks it's a +. (it's one of those dark vs. lighter bands - which I can't stand! I wish it was digital)
