Hi everyone
I have my IUI tomorrow. But I'm having major pains in my ovaries right now. Does that mean I'm ovulating right now, about to ovulate, have already ovulated? I'm not sure but it's been going on for about 2 hours. I'm disappointed in this what I was told was the Bentley of fertility clinics having missed my ovulation after blood tests and ultra sounds all week. In fact they wanted to do it Sunday (in 2 days) and I had to write back and be like "i never ovulate that late!" so there's no sense in getting an IUI tomorrow if I've ovulated 24 hours before correct? And how do i know when I ovulated through this pain?

Did you trigger or are they monitoring LH?
Have you done any opk?

The only ways to confirm ov is by bbt, ultrasound, or progesterone blood test.

If you triggered or were taking any meds they could cause any number of symptoms, is my guess, so pain/cramping shouldn't be your indicator of ov.

If you temp you can confirm ov tomorrow morning. Otherwise you could have them do an ultrasound to check before doing the lUI.

Good luck!
