help please - advice re CD 21 progesterone

hi,

I wonder if anyone can advise me a bit please? currently trying to conceive second child.
I have to get cd 21 progesterone testing done. I had it done before and the result was only 5. I have been put on 6 months of femera to try cd 2-6, the consultant has sent me a form to get bloods tested again - so cd for me is Saturday (would have to be done Monday as nowhere open for bloods on the weekend) however my cycles can be a bit irregular so I think my ovulation tests are only positive today and yesterday
any advice as to when I should get the cd 21 test done? should I wait a week??
I was seen at Recurrent MC clinic by a nurse specialist and then the consultant wrote to me with a prescription and advice so didn't get much opportunity to ask these questions

Hi Purplelou

I would go on day 7 after ovulation...that is the most accurate day for testing levels

Yes 7dpo definately - I'm from telford not far from you! Can I ask did your GP prescribe femara? X

My doctor didn't test for progesterone, he just said to start taking it after O is confirmed. I just take it every month just in case.
