Dont know if this is the right place to post this but thought you could help me please, i had my second mc 4 weeks ago, and was wondering when will i get my next period or ov. I rang my doc yesterday and he said it can take upto for months for next period, and said it wud be better to wait to concieve till i get my af. hope it doesnt take long,dnt wanna wait for months.

So sorry for your loss.
I had my m/c 6 weeks ago tomo and just got my af on monday. I had read alot that on average it can take between 4-6 weeks to return. An i was on the 6 week mark. But also read that it can take much longer 4-12 weeks. Sorry not got the right answers for you darlin. It just takes time for you body to heal and af will return when your body is better. Try not to worry to much.

Im so sorry for your loss.

I think different people recover at different times. Some girls have got pregnant again one the next cycle and others have waited a few months to make sure they are fully healed.

It might be worth discussing with your doctor?

So sorry for your loss After my mc (I had to have ERPC) my AF came bang on 28 days later, however it was a bit random for a number of months after that. I was told it could take anything up to about 12 weeks to come and it will happen when my body was ready etc. We waited for the first AF to come and go for TTC. I know there are mixed messages about when to try, but although we tried after first AF, it took a fair few to come and go before we got one to stick. Your time will come, look after yourself and your body and it will happen for you

so sorry for your loss, i too was in the same boat, i had three m/c my cycles were always 28 days my periods returned no later than 35 days so i think it depends on your body. my own doctors said on average your period would be back within 4-6 weeks.

i hope you will be ok, takes time, after no. 2 i really wanted to try again, some couples feel it will help them others run a mile from it, you go with what makes you feel ok. look after yourself

Was it a natural m/c or tablet or D&C? Natural may take a lot longer for your hormones to regulate.

For me:
1st mc at 12 weeks, took tablet, AF came in 4 weeks.. the next came in 3 weeks, then the next in 4.
2nd mc at 5 weeks, let it go naturally, AF came in 10 weeks.

I am so sorry for your loss hun. I had a m/c at the end of may this year and my first af was 35 days, 2nd was 42days, 3rd 39 days, 4th 21 days, 5th 41 days and I am currently on my 6th cycle and on CD15 today. Everyone is different and our bodies regulate differenlty. I am have started taking agnus castus as, my cycles are all over the place 6mths after my m/c. You just have to wait it out I'm afraid nothing else you can do at the moment.

i had my 2nd m/c for weeks ago and the witch arrived today, so four weeks for me, on my first m/c it toke 5 weeks, were all diffrent, im glad its arrived as i can try again now, im so sorry sending u a big hug xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I just had another m/c (d&c at 13 weeks - baby was 13 weeks). My doctor said (for what it is worth) that you don't need to wait for a period. If you would like to try earlier, get some ovulation tests and track your ovulation and then once you ovulate your body is ready. I am taking that advice because I don't want to wait either, but I know other doctors prefer you to wait until you menstruate.

I just wanted to send you . I'm glad that your AF arrived. For me AF arriving was just a cue for me to be able to move on a little easier. Good luck with everything! I'm so sorry for your loss.
