i am currently working full time and have bee since April. Due to important personal circumstances I have to travel abroad. However my work will not give me the time of as holiday, in addition to this, my sister whom I live with is moving house round about the same time I have to go abroad. I can't afford my own place and where we are moving to is too far for me to commute to work.
I feel I have to leave my job voluntarily because of the situation. I am not entitled to SMP and the company is not being flexible at all as i am just on my probation period .
I can work up until my 24th week of pregnancy but then I have to go abroad (for about ten days) and I have accrued 2 weeks holiday. I am worried sick that because of my situation I am not going to be eligible for maternity allowance . I would really appreciate some detailed info on this if anyone's been in similar situation.
