I've started my period a week early and it started with spots of brown discharge. This has never happened before, my periods are almost always on time from when I write them down. I've been a week late before but I have never been early and started with brown discharge. Now it's heavier and dark blood not bright red like a normal period. I haven't experienced any cramps like a normal period, usually I can feel a period coming a couple of days before it starts, this time I felt nothing it just surprised me. Can anybody help me with what may be going on?

I sometimes get the brown which im told is old blood and I also get brown clotting. The DR says if the clots are as big as 10p then u need to see the DR but other than that its just old blood. If ur worried speak 2 ur DR x

I'm not sure why it happens but I got this a couple of months ago, I started with brown discharge from CD24/8DPO, I had spotting on and off for days until full flow started, but 'touch wood' back to normal since then.
