Help please

I had a medically managed miscarriage on the 11th Dec. I should have been 12 weeks but when they scanned me the baby had died around 9 weeks. I bled for about 9/10 days.
Ok fast forward to yesterday, I did an HPT to check everything was back to normal. It came back faint positive so I figured it's just taking a while. Yesterday evening I started getting some pink/brown spotting so I thought that was af starting but it's not came to anything yet.
I have done another HPT this morning and it is still positive but much lighter so that's a good sign. I also done an opk just for curiosity and it's positive! So now I'm completely confused as I thought af was on its way. Is it possible I could be ovulating now?

I always have 28/29 day cycles and I have done a couple of opks since the miscarriage and they were negative so I don't think it is picking up the Hcg?

Oh wow, hard to tell. If previous ovpks were negative and your hpts are getting lighter (I'd call that one pretty much invisible!) then I'd assume you're close to ovulation. If I've learned one thing about mc, it's that everything is "normal", there's no making sense of it sometimes. Your spotting could be ovulation spotting?

My cycles changed dramatically after my D&C in August I went from having 28 day cycles to 35 day cycles. I asked my doctor and she said she doesn't think the the OPk's are a reliable source after a MC for many months since your body went through something traumatic and it is trying to reset per say everything back to normal

Well af has appeared this evening so I'm just going to assume my body is a bit messed up and confused at the moment! Lol
I'm hoping my cycles don't change too much but time will tell.
I'm going to start charting again this cycle and not rely on the opks too heavily x

How strange you got AF right after your last positive test though. I thought that your first negative test is effectively cd1 and you'd have a whole cycle before AF. Shows what I know. How frustrating. I wish someone wrote "a practical guide to miscarriage". It's so common and still there's hardly anything out there about the mechanics of it all.

Well AFs nearly finished and I'm still getting positive tests!
