In December I got a BFP and two days later I started my period does this mean I miss carried

Sounds like it could have been a chemical pregnancy. Sorry. 
I had one last cycle too. They are very common, ladies just didn't know that they had had one before sensitives came on to the market. Just presume the period is late. They are mostly due to genetic abnormalities.
