Help?! so confused!

Hello All,
I went off birth control the end of June. I got my withdraw bleed June 27 (cd1). I started with opk but all were negative for several days so I stopped because of the cost. I started charting temps about halfway into this cycle. FF doesn't show I've ovulated and my temps don't really indicate if AF should be starting (I think...but I am still a newbie). So here I am on CD38 and I wake up this morning to bright red blood on my toilet paper. Second bathroom trip it was much darker.

What is going on with my body?! This is driving me insane.

Any advice welcome.

My first and second cycles post birth control were a lot like yours. My first cycle was fairly normal, but a little longer:

And my second cycle seemed to have no pattern at all and seemed to last forever. I still don't know when I actually O'd... FF has me at CD22 but it looks like it was somewhere between CD29 and 33.

I feel like it's just part of coming off the pill. I wouldn't worry too much at this point, and just keep temping! I would probably use OPKs though since your pattern is still unpredictable so you won't know when to time BD unless you're doing it EOD.

It's part of coming off the pill.. Your body will take a cycle or 2 to regulate.. When I was on depo provera(shot) it took me 3 months to regulate and I had a few mini cycles... Be patient... It felt like an irregular period.. It would stop for a couple weeks then start back for a few days...keep track of your starting and stopping so you know when you regulate out... HTH

Apparently, it was AF showing her ugly face.

It has been NOTHING like my normal periods before I started bcp and during bcp. No cramps...no heavy bleeding. I would have killed a box of tampons by now and I've used maybe only 4. Mostly liners. Crazy.
