Hi girls,
I'm really very concerned. sadly my breast milk dried up out of the blue and I had to switch over to formula, normally my son would be eating 4 oz of formula but as of last night as DH told me he has only been eating 1 oz at his feedings. is my son okay? is it normal for him to eat alot then decrease and 'snack' as I would call it. I'm really very worried something is wrong, please help.:nope:

Formula will fill them up quicker and will not take as much, I mix feed and my bm is drunk far quicker and more than when I give her formula, the difference will take some time in getting used to also the transition from breast to bottle takes time too, try jig to worry x

Thank you, I'll try but its hard, he went from 4 oz of formula to 1 oz. what should I look for as bad signs of sickness?

How many feedings has he done this for now? It's ok if it happens the odd couple of times but not if it's consistent. Check his temp (under his armpit) and if he's crying more or much more sleepy. You should see his feedings pick up soon. If not it's worth a check to your dr. Don't stress though. Is probably just a transition thing.
