Hi, all. My Dr. suggested we try using OPKs since we've had a couple cycles of TTC with no luck. It's my first time really using them and I just bought a cheapie brand from Target.

I tested Thursday ( CD 12) mid-day and it was (-).

I had some ewcm yesterday ( CD 13) and tested mid-day and it was a very strong (+).

Woke up this morning, had a ton more ewcm. I tested mid day again ( CD 14) and it was a (-).

So, if I had a positive around 3pm yesterday, and a negative test around noon today, does that mean I likely ovulated somewhere in that range?

Hubby and I DTD last night around 7pm and again this morning around 10 so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

OPKs can be helpful in predicting ovulation but will not confirm O as you can have an lh surge and not ovulate. Most women will O 12-36 hours after turning an OPK positive, so you probably hit your fertile window if you did in fact ovulate.
